| Proposed amendment to the Bowen Hills UDA Development Scheme | |
Under the provisions of the Urban Land Development Authority Act 2007, the ULDA proposes to amend the Bowen Hills Urban Development Area Development Scheme.
You are invited to make a submission on the proposed amendment within the period from 26 October – 8 December 2009 (the submission period).

On 3 July 2009, the State Government approved the Bowen Hills Urban Development Area Development Scheme.
The Development Scheme is the planning document which will assist the Urban Land Development Authority (ULDA) in planning, carrying out, promoting, coordinating and controlling the development of land in the Bowen Hills Urban Development Area (UDA).
All development applications within the UDA will now be assessed against the Development Scheme, replacing the Interim Land Use Plan.

Between 20 October and 2 December 2008 the ULDA publicly notified the Proposed Development Scheme for the Bowen Hills Urban Development Area.
Interested parties were invited to view and make a submission on the proposed scheme during this period.
Following a review of the 40 submissions received, a submissions report was prepared for the Minister.
