The ULDA works with local and state government, community, local landholders and development industry representatives to help deliver commercially viable developments that include diverse, affordable, sustainable housing, using best-practice urban design.
The ULDA will first focus on five areas within - Bowen Hills, Northshore Hamilton, Woolloongabba, Fitzgibbon and Mackay.
Bowen Hills, Northshore Hamilton and Fitzgibbon have been declared Urban Development Areas (UDA) and the ULDA is now responsible for assessing development applications in these areas. |  | |
